Frustration
OK. My second entry today. This weeks work in Learning 2.0 have been very frustrating. Well, maybe a couple were a little fun, but mostly frustrating. Rollyo gave me fits. I had difficulty understanding why it was better than other search engines. I am going to do a little more exploring with different search engines to see if I can find one I like better.
Inspiration
This week, I have fought to stay positive. It has been difficult when at every corner I have had technical difficulties. But, my week is almost over and I would like to share with you a bit of inspiration that helps me keep my head above the rushing waters. See everyone after the holidays.

Another week, another assignment
So... This wasn't so bad. During my learning experience, I found a couple of interesting web sites. For the techies among you, go to:
http://blog.nekls.org/
If you are looking for library blogs in general, you will find an extensive list at:
http://www.blogwithoutalibrary.net/links/index.php?title=Public_libraries
(We should be listed here)
The Austin Public Library has a blog that you might also find interesting.

Enough playing around. Hope some of this might be helpful.

Flickr
OK. Another experience with Flicker......
I posted photos of the family (please notice the handsome man I am married to for almost 30 years). When time permits, I think I will add quite a few photos to share with extended family.

Learning about Flickr
O.K.
I went to Flickr and became familiar with the program. I posted a nice comment about NTRLS. I posted a photo. I changed my buddy to a photograph of myself. (NOT bad, if I do say so.) I have completed my weekly assignment. Are you getting all this, boss?

Complaints to the King and Queen
OK. Everyone who reads this blog knows how I feel. Very uncomfortable. Somehow posting a blog is just to personal. Why is that? I don't mind the challenge of learning something new. There are many things I do that puts me out into the public, but there is just something about a blog....
Enough. Let's get through this. Last week, I am happy to report, ended up being very productive. Along with several O2U projects being completed, the beginning of the Librarian's Marketplace is off to a good start. I had a good visit with the Mineral Wells staff. Also, progress was made on some of my CE projects, sublease was developed, letter to Pitney Bowes was drafted, and I began work on the RFP for SILS. I must admit that I like being this busy. Time flies and it makes me feel like I have accomplished something.
OK. For me, this is a LONG blog. How does everyone else do this with ease????? Maybe I will relax as time goes by. We'll see.
